Alexandra Jackson also know as “Alex J”, was born and raised in Miami, Florida but currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. The 20 year old dancer has graduated from Dr. Michael Krop Senior High School and attended New World School of the arts College. Alex J. has trained under Traci Young Byron’s company the Young Contemporary Dance Theater, also know as (YCDT). She is a well rounded dancer experienced in styles like Ballet, Modern, Jazz/Jazz funk, Contemporary, Afro fusion, Hip hop, and Heels. At the age of 19, Alex J started up her professional career in the dance industry and is now an upcoming professional dancer, choreographer, and visual artist. She has worked with artist Trina rock star and Nia Amber, she has also performed on Issa Rae’s upcoming show “Rap $hit”. Alex J prides herself on pushing dancers to become their best self through dance and reminding future artist that you can do anything. “It doesn’t matter how you start, it’s about how you finish”.
